“Sometimes peace of mind means giving up trying to understand and becoming comfortable with not knowing.”
In today’s world it often feels as if events are moving so fast we are at a loss to understand them all. The need to know can cause severe anxiety when the information simply is not available yet.
Allowing ourselves to be okay with not knowing can relieve us of much worry and discomfort. We can trust our intuition and gut feelings and be less anxious about what we cannot know or control We can find peace in being part of a larger family – humanity – that’s working together for the common good.
PeopleCare Health Services is an example of our human family at work, serving one another and working together to provide care, independence and dignity to the clients we serve. When we know our day is spent providing valuable services to our fellow human beings, the things we don’t know take a backseat. What we do know, and what we offer, is the foundation for our peace.
