I’m a rarity (much like a Bigfoot sighting)! I’m a Colorado native, born and raised in Grand Junction. After high school, I attended Mesa State College (now CMU), spent a year skiing and playing in Copper Mountain, and then relocated to Denver to return to school. Eventually I moved to California for a long stretch of time, living in San Francisco and Santa Barbara before returning to Colorado to finish my nursing degree. I have been fortunate to work in several positions at St. Mary’s Hospital and have been able to hone my nursing and management skills, especially when I served as a Manager for Case Management at Rocky Mountain Health Plan. As the Lead RN at PCHS, it is my hope to make a positive impact on our clients, families, caregivers and PCHS team with my experience, skills, positive attitude, empathy and willingness to do all I can to educate and train those providing the care and services.

I am one of the newest members of the PeopleCare Health Services team, serving as the RN for PeopleCare East and PeopleCare South. I received my BSN from Cedarville University in Ohio and have been practicing nursing in a variety of settings since, including the University of Colorado Health Science Center as a research nurse in cardiology. Most recently I practiced home health nursing and there saw first-hand the advantages and benefits to clients who receive care in their home. I’m excited with the various programs offered by PeopleCare that allow clients and their families to have skilled care in their own homes. When not practicing nursing, I enjoy time with my family.

I am a born and raised Colorado Native. I am a Respiratory Therapist and love working in the medical field.

I was adopted and the youngest of 6 now grown children. I have 9 nieces and nephews with 2 more on the way. Coming from such a large family, there is never a dull moment.  After spending years in the kitchen with my Mom, my love of cooking, and the fact that our family get-togethers don’t usually involve less than 20 at any given time, one of my favorite times of year is Christmas Eve when I make homemade Mexican Food from scratch and share it with our family and friends.

Helping people is my passion.  I am truly blessed to be working for such an amazing company doing what I love.
