Breakfast is definitely not the meal to skip. Studies show that breakfast IS the most important meal of the day. Breakfast can really help control your diet and weight because it gives you a more full feeling throughout the day and increases energy levels for your workouts. It can also improve your brain function for the day and lower your cholesterol if you’re eating the right foods.
Many wonder “What should I be eating for breakfast?” For higher energy, brain function and to maintain weight, you will want to be eating lean proteins, fruits and whole grain cereals. So keep these foods readily available in the morning before you start the day. Remember that skipping breakfast is not the way to lose weight, in fact it’s the opposite. Skipping any meal is not a great idea, but skipping breakfast is skipping the most important meal of the day.
